At the beginning of a psychotherapeutic process there is a psychological diagnosis. This is where a precise diagnosis and analysis of the current problem takes place. Using standardized test procedures and a personal anamnesis, the clinical picture is recorded and a disorder model is developed together with you.

What follows is the so-called psychoeducation. This means providing information about the respective clinical picture, its cause and symptoms.

The appropriate form of treatment will then be determined and concretized with a treatment plan tailored specifically to you. This contains jointly agreed therapy goals and guides the therapeutic approach.

The specific approach to therapy varies greatly depending on the clinical picture and the individual resources of each individual. Through joint work, access to resources, experiences and strengths should be regained and expanded so that difficult life situations can be dealt with easily.

Towards the end of the treatment phase, the therapeutic successes achieved are stabilized and relapse prevention is developed.
